Special Gion Festival Menu: July 14 (Mon) – 16 (Wed)
As the rainy season gives way to summer heat—today’s high reaching 30°C—the festive energy of Kyoto’s Gion Festival is just around the corner.
Located along Bukkoji Street, our restaurant sits near Tokusa-yama, one of the festival’s floats. During the Yoiyama festivities, the area comes alive with lanterns, music, and lively crowds.
From July 14 to 16, in addition to our usual Shokado bento and seasonal kaiseki dinner (both reservation-only), we will offer a limited special menu to celebrate the Gion Festival.
This special menu is more casual and slightly lighter than our usual offerings—ideal for guests dropping by for a relaxed bite during the festival stroll.
We will also be serving draft beer, which is not typically available.
